Day 01: Arrival Delhi
|
Arrive Delhi. Meet assist at the airport and
transfer to hotel. Night stay in Delhi. |

Day 02: Gwalior |
|
Gwalior
is famous for its old and very large fort. Within
the fort walls are several interesting temples and
ruined palaces. The dramatic and colourful history
of the great fort goes back over 1000 years.
Gwalior is 110 kms from Agra and a 2 hrs drive by
road or a one hour train ride on the Shatabdi
Express. You can travel to Gwalior from Agra and
return on the same day.Gwalior is dominated by its fort, which tops the
long hill to the north of Lashkar, the new town.
The old town clings to the hill, north-east of the
fort. . Night stay in Gwalior.

| Day 03: Shivpuri |
|
Morning proceed for Shivpuri 117km south-west of
Gwaliori. Shivpuri in Madhya Pradesh was earlier
known to be the capital of Scindia clan of Gwalior
in the summer.A pleasant lake surrounded by gardens
here has been a summer retreat for the Scindia
royalty who wished to escape from the oppressive
summers of Gwalior. Shivpuri houses a wildlife
sanctuary and several hunting lodges.Madhav
National Park has varieties of birds and other
animals like chinkara, Indian gazelle, chital,
nilgai, sambar, chausingha, blackbuck, sloth bear,
leopard and common langur Near Shivpuri, ancient Jain temples scattered across a
hilly slope glisten in the sun. Return to Gwalior
for night stay.

| Day 04: Orchha |
(approx.112km
south of Gwalior) After breakfast drive to orchha &
transfer to hotel. Crossing the bridge over the
Betwa River to the fortified island brings you to
three 17th-century palaces. The Jehangir Mahal is an
impressive, rambling complex with good views of the
countryside from the upper levels. There is a small
archaeological museum on the ground floor. The Raj
Mahal nearby has superb murals. Below the Jehangir
Mahal is the smaller Raj Praveen Mahal, a palace
built near a garden. The Hammam (bath house) and
camel stables are nearby. The walled Phool Bagh
gardens, a cool summer retreat beside the Palki
mahal, are a memorial to Dinman Hardol.Night stay in orchha.

DAY 05: Orchha - Pachmarhi

After breakfast visit
the Ram Raja Temple, the only temple in India
where devotees worship Lord Rama as a king,
and Phool Bagh, an artificial cascade.Morning
at leisure in the nature’s lap of this green
destination. In the later half of the day move
out proceed for the sight seeing thus, making
yourself lost in the scenic beauty of this
romantic place filled with cascading water
falls, steep green valleys of Mahadeo hills
sight seeing. The sight seeing includes Chhota
Mahadeo, Chauragarh, Jata Shankar, Dhoopgarh.
Optional Para sailing activity in the evening.Transfer to hotel.Night
stay in pachmarhi.

| Day 06: Pachmarhi |
After breakfast visit the 10,000 years old rock
paintings in the caves of Mahadeo Hills. The
Pandava Caves were the mythical home of the exiled
Pandava princes during the Mahabharata era. Night
stay in pachmarhi.

Day 07: Pachmarhi - Bhopal |
|
After breakfast
visit the sacred cave of Jata Shankar resembles
the matted locks of Lord Shiva. Then Rajat
Pratap, the 350-feet-high waterfall is
honeymooners' delight. There are many other
exciting primitive temple sites and rock
formations. After finishing the sightseeing
drive to Bhopal & transfer to hotel. Night stay
in Bhopal.

| Day 08: Bhopal |
|
Bhopal, central India, is clearly
demarcated into the new and old city by the Upper
and Lower Lakes said to have been built under the
reign of Raja Bhoj. The Upper and Lower Lakes are
popular tourists attractions and offer rides on
row-boats, pedal-boats, sailboats picnic and other
recreational facilities. Visit the glorious Gohar
Mahal that stands proud on the banks of the Upper
Lake in Bhopal, India. Built by Qudsia Begum this
ornamental expression of art is an artistic
representation of Indo-Saracenic architecture.
Taj-ul-Masjid though one of the largest and
beautiful mosques in India commissioned under Shah
Jahan Begum, it is still incomplete. Towering
terracotta walls protect the two white domed
minarets. Qudsia Begum built Jama Masjid in
1837; her daughter later built the Moti Masjid that
was similar to Jama Masjid in its squat dome less
minarets in 1860.

| Day 09: Sanch |
|
68km north of Bhopal by car, a hill rises to pay
obeisance to the oldest and grandest Buddhist
edifice—the Sanchi Stupa—at its crest. Built by the
emperor-turned-monk Ashoka of the Maurya Dynasty in
the 3 rd century BC, the Stupa is 16 metres high and
37 metres in diameter. The massive dome evokes rare
serenity, and the encircling pathway with four entry
points adds to the solemnity. Return to Bhopal
before sundown. Transfer to hotel.

| Day 10: Delhi |
|
Delhi, the capital of India, is
mixture of tradition and modernity, a historic city
with stately buildings and the seat of government of
a vibrant nation. A tour of Delhi's monuments and
sights is a great way to get to know this
fascinating country and to begin your tour of India.
Marvel at the majestic Red Fort and the impressive
India Gate, be enchanted by the beauty of the
Lotus-shaped Bahai Temple, tour the museums to know
more about India's past and browse through the
markets for handicraft and textile items, made by
master craftsmen. . Transfer to hotel.
Transfer to airport for onward journey.
