Jaipur

Day 05: Jaipur - Agra

Morning drive to Agra
Agra the city is home to the wonder in white
marble Taj Mahal. The visit to the city with
the forts, mosques and tombs amidst the greens
will be a great way to enjoy the holiday. This
tour to one of the Indian wonders of the
worlds is not to be missed. Arrive Agra by
lunch and transfer to hotel. After lunch visit
Agra Fort- a hilltop citadel with fabulous
courtyards, fountains and gates. Evening free

| Day 06: Agra

Early morning visit theThe tour continues with a
visit to the Agra Fort from where one can get the
most moving view of the Taj from the little
octagonal tower in the Agra Fort which lies across
the river Jamuna. It was here that Aurangzeb the
third son of Shah Jahan kept his father under
house arrest, from where the Emperor spent the
last years of his life gazing at the tomb of his

Day 07: Agra - Gwalior (by train) Gwalior-
Orchha (by surface)

Morning transfer
to railway station to board the train to Gwalior
The major attractions of the city are its old
beautiful temples, huge old forts with eye
pleasing architecture and the magnificent
princely palaces, which have been preserved with
care. Among them, Gwalior Fort is most beautiful
monument of historical importance. It has been
built on a steep mass of sandstone. One of the
most invincible forts of India, the outer walls
of the forts is two miles in length and 35 feet
high. The founder of the Mughal Empire, Babar
called it "the pearl amongst the fortresses of
Hind." There are statues of Jain tirthankaras,
carved out in rock, on the road leading to the
Fort. Later drive to
Orchha , a historical site with magnificient
temples and monuments. Some of the palaces were
decorated with painted murals which represent
the finest flowering of the Bundela school of

Khajuraho |

drive to Khajuraho Khajuraho- the legendary temples
of khajuraho are an incomparable experience.Khajuraho,

exquisitely carved temples in stones. Thousands of
visitors and tourists from all
over the world flock together to envisage this
immortal saga of Hindu art and culture engraved in

breakfast transfer to airport to connect flight to
Varanasi - Varanasi, or Benaras as it was earlier

Shiva. Avimukta, meaning 'never forsaken', refers to
the city that Shiva never deserted. Anandavana, the
'forest of bliss', and Rudravasa, the place where

true sceptic captive, despite the atmosphere being

Vishwanath Temple, the Tulsi Manas Temple, the

Varanasi are the Jantar Mantar observatory, the
Benaras Hindu University and the markets of
Varanasi, where you can shop for Benarasi sarees,

After breakfast transfer to the Airport to connect
flight for Kathmandu- the capital town of Nepal,
the house of the highest mountains, kathmandu is

this wonderland. The place has ever since been the
center for art, crafts, culture and a rich
heritage. Arrive Kathmandu, meet & assist at the

Day 14: Kathmandu

After breakfast visit SWAYAMBHUNATH STUPA- the
oldest Buddhist shrine. It is said to be 2,000 years
old. Painted on the four sides of the spire's base
are the all - seeing eyes of Lord Buddha. It is 3 km
west of Kathmandu City and is situated on a hillock
about 77 m above the level of Kathmandu Valley and
commands an excellent view of the Valley. This Stupa
is the oldest of its kind in Nepal. It was also
listed in the UNESCO World Heritage Monument List in
1979. Evening transfer to Nepalese Restaurant
Bhanchaghar for a Traditional Nepali Welcome
reception and dinner. Here you will have the
opportunity to enjoy a live Nepalese Cultural programme performed by beautiful young girls dressed
in ethnic traditional Nepalese costumes and jewelry
representing various parts of Nepal. Dinner will

Morning transfer to airport to board the flight for
Delhi . Arrive Delhi & transfer to hotel. Evening
explore the local markets etc. for last minute
