Day 02: Delhi |
New Delhi, the capital and the third
largest city of India is a fusion of the ancient and the

monuments, museums, galleries, gardens and exotic shows. The

in the 1190s will charm you with its splendor. The
magnificent red tomb of Humayun with the dashing double-dome

Day 03: Delhi - Agra |

Early morning drive to the city of
Taj- Agra .Arrive Agra in approx. 4 hours & transfer
to hotel Agra was the capital of the Mughal Emperor
Shah Jahan and his beautiful Queen Mumtaz Mahal. After
she passed away in 1631, Shah Jahan created a
mausoleum that is now known as a symbol of eternal

Interestingly, the royal family's
earlier residence at Amber, was only 11km away, and had been
since the 10th century. Seven hundred years later, the
Maharaja chose to raise a "City of Victory", and aptly
christened it Jaipur. Co-incidentally, the name also
incorporated the first name of the Maharaja thus immortalizing
the builder both through his nomenclature of dynasty and
concept of ideals.
Jaipur was and remains the only city in the world symbolising
the nine divisions of the universe through nine rectangular
sectors dividing it. A young Bengali architect, Vidyadhar
Bhattacharya formalised the city's plans on the "Shilpa
Shastra": the epochal Hindu treatise on architecture,
tempering it with the sublimity of Mudhal and Jain influences

Day 06: Jaipur |

Morning walking tour of some
interesting streets and squares of the Pink City to
catch glimpses of the habitual patterns of its people,
which even includes attending heart-rending prayers at
Sri Govind Devji temple. Optional day tour to Sanganer

Day 07: Jaipur - Ranthambhore |
|
Morning drive to Ranthambhore It is
probably one of the finest habitats for the Sambar Deer. Well
known for the diurnal activity of its Tigers, Ranthambhore is a
very special and unusual area where the natural presents meet the
historical past. Famous for its Tigers, the Ranthambore National
Park is one of the most photographed tiger reserve all over the
world. Ranthambhore National Park has a tiger population of about
32. Apart from tigers, the Park also supports a large number of
other wild species including leopards, caracal, jungle cat, hyena,
jackal, sloth bear, wild boar, marsh crocodile, porcupine, common
langur, spotted deer, Indian gazelle, gazzelle, sambar, nilgai,
monitor lizards and a large number of birds.Night stay in

08:
Ranthambhore - Kota - Bundi
|
|
Early
morning Jungle safari in National Park . Later drive
to Kota The commanding fort stands overlooking the
modern Shamble Valley Project, with its many dams -
Kota Barrage, Gandhi Sagar, Rana Pratap Sagar and
Jawahar Sagar. An old palace, dating back to the time
when Kota, was under the control of the Handa
Chieftaincy - Hadoti, faces the Kota Barrage.also
visit the fort city Bundi. Night stay in Kota.

09: Kota - Chittaurgarh |
|
After breakfast picturesque drive
towards Chittaurgarh.Chittaurgarh is India's largest
fort and the ultimate symbol of Rajput chivalry and
pride.Chittogarh Fort: Chittorgarh Fort is a
massive structure with a 1 kilometre zigzag accent
to it. The road leads through seven gates to the
main gate Rampol (meaning Gate of Ram). On the climb
between the second and third gate you see two
Chattris cenotaphs built to honour Jaimull and Kulla
heroes of 1568 siege by Emperor Akbar. The main gate
of the fort itself is Surajpol (meaning Sun Gate).
Within the fort a circular runs around the ruins of

10: Chittaurgarh - Dungarpur |

Drive to Dungarpur .Dungarpur, or
the City of Hills, was founded in the 13ht century.
You can visit the Juna Mahal which is adorned with
beautiful frescoes, paintings, mirror work and glass
inlays; the well maintained Government run Rajmata
Devendra Kanwar Museum and the beautiful Deo Somnath
Temple. Day free for leisure. Night stay in
Dungarpur.

Visit the The Vijay Raj
Rajeshwar Temple : Dedicated to Lord Shiva is an
architectural splendor and a fine example of
craftsmanship of the shilpis of Dungarpur.The
wondrous flora & fauna : The area is rich in
teak, mahau and mango trees. The unspoilt forested
areas provide shelter to the jackal, jungle cat,
Indian fox, hyena, black faced monkey and porcupine.
This area is ideal for those interested in outdoor
life since the terrain is ideal for walks and treks.

Dungarpur - Udaipur
|

Morning drive towards
Udaipur.Udaipur is the historic capital of former
kingdom of Mewar and now the administrative
headquarters of Udaipur districts .and visit Molela
village for its fine terracotta craft then transfer
to hotel. Later sightseeing tour of Udaipur covering
City Palace and Saheliyon ki Bari. Evening free to
explore the interesting labyrinths around Jagdish
temple on your own. Night stay in Udaipur.

Day free to relax in the hotel or excursion to
Ranakpur Jain temples or Eklingji / Nagda. the two
exquisite palaces on the Lake-, Garden that
was specially constructed for the ladies of the
Mewar royal household, Sajjan Garh or the Monsoon
Palace, Jagdish Temple, Pratap Memorial, Gulab Bagh

14: Udaipur - Mumbai - Departure
|
|
Morning transfer to board the
flight for Mumbai .Arrive Mumbai & proceed for half
day tour of Mumbai covering Marine Drive Juhu and
Chowpatty Beaches,Mani Bhawan ,Gateway of India,
Prince of Wales Museum, Hanging Gardens on the
slopes of Malabar Hills offering nice view of Marine
Lines & Chowpatty Beach. Evening transfer to airport
to board the onward flight.
