DAY 3: Jaisalmer, SAM DUMES
On arrival at Jaisalmer, our car will meet you and
drive you to the SAM DUMES. Enjoy the evening with the
view of a spectacular, and a breathtaking camel ride. A
Gala Dinner is laid out in the open by the staff. You
stay overnight at the SAM DUMES, the wonderfully
arranged Tented Accommodation with all modern
amenities.
DAY 4: Jaisalmer-Jodhpur
Train Departure: 16:00
Train Arrival: 22:00
Morning, take a sightseeing tour
of Jaisalmer including Sonar Fort, housing a fourth of
the city’s residents. Also visit Patwon Ki Haveli, one
of the most exquisite havelis with a beautifully
latticed façade. Salim Singh Ki Haveli is just three
centuries old, and is still lived in. Its arched roof
is held up by well executed brackets in the form of
peacocks. Our car will then drop you at the Railway
Station for your onward journey to Jodhpur. On arrival
at Jodhpur, you will be met by our car and checked in
at Hotel Pal Haveli.
DAY 5: Jodhpur-Delhi
Train Departure: 19:30
Train Arrival: 05:50 next day
Our car will take you for a city
tour. Visit The Mehrangarh Fort situated at an altitude
of about 125 metres. This fort is spread over an area
of 5 sq. km and has seven gates. The Jaswant Thada is a
white marble memorial built in memory of Maharaja
Jaswant II in 1899. The Umaid Bhawan is a majestic
building that presently functions as a hotel and
museum. The Mandore Gardens, situated about 8 km from
Jodhpur, has cenotaphs of the Jodhpur rulers. The
Government Museum and Zoo are located in the pleasant Umaid Gardens. Finally, you will be dropped at the
Jodhpur station for your return to Delhi. On arrival at
Delhi railway station, you will be met and dropped to
your hotel/ place of stay. |
